1 cup sugar
2 T salt
1-1/2 cup shortening
6 cups
water
4 T yeast
1/2 cup powdered milk
Put flour in a very large bowl. Make a
well and add, sugar, salt, shortening, and dry milk. Dissolve yeast in 2 cups of
water. Add to flour mixture and add 4 cups water more. Mix well and knead until
elastic Bake at 350 degrees. 40 minutes for loaves (5 or 6), less for rolls and
cinnamon rolls.
